monitor.us: 1 year of monitoring

Today, 9th of March is our first anniversary. We launched monitor.us one year ago, just before Cebit 2006. Now, March 2007, we are launching our premium service. monitor.us had a history of quick release cycles. We are committed to provide the best monitoring experience with unprecedented set of features and innovation.

• March, 2006 Launch of the service. Single location performance and uptime monitoring, with email notification. Only http and ping checks were possible.
• March, 2006 We show our service at Cebit 2006
• April, 2006 UI updated
• April, 2006, Preview mode, reporting added
• May, 2006, Load speed increased, several bugs fixed
• May, 2006, New Tests (https, pop3, SMTP and FTP) and Snapshot view were added

• Sept, 2006, US monitoring location added (monitor.us added new location in the US)

• Oct, 2006, VoIP, DNS, TCP, UDP, IMAP protocols monitoring was added (monitor.us launched new version with Voice-over-IP and 4 more protocols)

• Nov, 2006 Safari browser support added (monitor.us added support for Safari 2.x browsers)
